One week bag in Belgium

Hello,

I am now one week back in Belgium. A little earlier than I first tought. After a wonderfull time in Finland I desided to come back to travel further from here by car. Little more freedom. I've bought a car now and I will leave nexte week.

I travel/ drive to Switzerland. There I will travel around and work a little on a project and maybe also farms.

But it's more traveling than working I think.

So I will post stories and pictures from Switserland.

A new place with lots of new expirience

Hei,

The eightof marchI was traveling by bus to Sideby. My first wwoof - adress at the west coast of Finland.The first contact was realy good. I met here the owners as well two other wwoof volunteers. After One hour there was a girl coming for an interview about wwoofers for a local radio station. This was realy fun to do.

At this farm I work with sheeps. Feeting the sheeps and lambs. Feeting the lambs with a bottle of milk is a very special expirience. There are also five lambs born during my state. But I also go walking with the three dogs, cook, bake, ski, learn knitting again, as well a lot of other things. Just the paradise.

I am also learning a lot new english words. But writing is not so good I think ;).

It feels good here!

16 days Finland

Hei (that meens 'hello' in Finnish),

Every day hapens something wath I or we don't expect. There is always some problem that we have to fix. And that make the work and life here exciting but also hard sometimes. There was one day that one of the big machines (the jcb) had his they. It was -24 in the morning and the machine was outside. Two problems the machine don't wanne star, and the tyre of the backweel was complete of. So we worked for an half a day for everything was again ok. These moments are heavy, cold, and hard.

This week was here also an other machine working in the forest. 'The Ponse Treecutter'. For one hour I was in that crazy beast. It was incredible but also hard because it just destroied everything that it passed on his way. ps. That beast cost about 400,000 Euros ;).

But you here it also Iam al the time talking about machines and sometimes Ifeel me like a machine. Imis a little the feeling, the working with my hands soul and heard. I am not that boy that always wanne work with machines and big thins. I like more to do different small things with my hands andalso wiht my head.

So now I am searchingfor another adress. More the organnic way. I hope I found some place.

My birthday

Hello friends

It was my birthday today but it feels like every other day, except all the nice messages that I get from you all. also is it every time very nice to read all your reactions on my stories. it feels now more normal here in Finland. the dark in the evening is feeling more familiar (that word is new for me ;)). I work a lot. The work is now nice because I start to know what I am doing. It´s quite often with more havy machines but it is funny to learn driving with them.

It´s also cozy to be inside in the evening with Kirsi(girlfriend of Johan), Ella (there child), and Johan. They are so nice to me. When it´s getting dark I always wanne go inside because than it´s there so cozy. But somethimes is there than still work to do and than I do that so quick as I can. I also can offten go in the sauna if I want. That is so good after a hard day in the cold of minus twenty degrees.

Maybe I wanne try to see a little bit more of the area because now I often working. But we shell see. i have a long time to go.

Hello friends and family,

I am so happy that I can Write something!

I past My first 3 days and it was a little hard. I miss you all so mush. But now I find again my ritme. It´s so nice here. I work with al the big machines tractors and other stuff, and I like to learn that al. I work all day long with the cows. I feet them, clean the barns, make foot for them, going reparated the tractors, making the roads free from snow,... And mush more. This morning it was minus 18 (-18). It was heavanly nice to feel the cold. Now I like the cold. When I go to a warm place a wanne go back outside because it´ to warm. A little bit scarry is the dark here. When it is nice wether it´s all good. But it´s dark at 17h a clock. In belgium I go than inside the house, but here we work than. And than I have to go hold stro beals for the cows out of the feeld with the tractor, and than I see almost nithing. That´s scarry. Not because of things. But just because it feels strange. And than I have to be strong because on that moments I began to miss you all.

I am going to try to poot some picturers on my blog from today, but therefor I need some time i think.

Morgen ben ik weg!

Hoi allemaal,

Vanaf vandaag zal ik een poging doen om mijn verhalen en opmerkingen in het engels te schrijven zodat de mensen waarmee ik in finland contact heb ook deze verhalen kunnen lezen. Ik zal schrijven zoals ik het aanvoel. Maar waarschijnlijk zullen jullie er een tal van hilarische fouten in ontdekken. Maar dat is mijn dichterlijke vrijheid dan maar.

One night sleeping at home and than I leave to Finland for six months. It's realy exciting at the moment. For me it's a hole new world. And I hope that I find my way there.

At 9h50 the plain leaves at Brussels Airport and I arrive at 13h20. Than I hope that I find there Johan who is the guy whereI'm going to work.That's my first stop. It's a farm close to the village/city Mustion. He lives 75 kmeast of Helsinki. When I am there I am going to look for other farms or forest workers or maybe a sawmill. And than I travel further on this way. When it's getting warmer I want to buy a cano. So I can sail and travel on the Finnish lakes.

So that's it for today.
